Video-film researching psychogeography of Cheremushky.
the Film is created within the framework of re-invention of new mythology for the Cheryomushki area in Moscow. It attempts to analyze and creatively recreate topographical objects social and cultural phenomena of Cheryomushki: ancient barrows of viatiches (pre-historical population), “maniac of the Bitca”, psychiatric hospital named after Kaschenko, objects of modern artists Dmitry Prigov and Kyrill Preobrazhensky, “tractor” art exhibition, apt-art, pulling down of outdated Khruschev’s residential buildings, Institute of theoretical and experimental physics and Institute of the Science Academy named after Skryabin, that resides in an old palace of manor Cheryomushki dating back to 18-19 centuries and many other things. The film is based on dreams and personal experiences of the author.
